The brand had disruptor DNA and what they needed was a campaign that reflected that – something that could hold its own without taking itself seriously. Irreverent, sharp, and rooted in a genuine brand truth – not to mention perfectly targeted to their key customer persona.
A fresh approach
Positioned as the antidote to category stuffiness, we leveraged Frootbat's 'making hard to find, easy to get' brand platform. We poked fun at the pretentious and helped them cement their position as a disruptor in the all-too-serious rare whiskey market.
The campaign delivered an average 65% revenue boost in markets where it ran, with some hitting as high as 90% uplift (compared to YoY monthly average, per geo).
